Volunteer Opportunties Available to Improve and Expand Services to Older Adults In Your Community
What is Aging Well? The Aging Well partnership is composed of older adults, local government, service providers, lawyers, bankers, police and others. Community action teams work together to develop projects that meet the needs of their local communities. To join or start an action team in your community contact Suburban Area Agency on Aging at (708) 383-0258. Aging Well is an integral part of Community Partnerships for Older Adults (CPFOA) – a national program of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. A project of the Suburban Area Agency on Aging, Aging Well is supported locally by The Scarle Funds at The Chicago Community Trust, Community Memorial Foudnation and the Township of Lyons.
